I am happy to announce that I won an Honourable Mention in the Painting category and will be part of the ‘Best of 2008’ exhibition at First Canadian Place Gallery, from January 12 to February 20, 2009.

"Drawing On" with work from Yael Brotman, Amanda Burk, Judith Geher and Lois Schklar explores the intimate responses triggered by drawing, surely one of most intimate of all artistic practices. For Brotman it's hopelessness. For Burk, it's communication. With Geher, it's vulnerability. For Schklar, the exhibition's organizer, it's perception. (New Gallery, 906 Queen St. W., until April 13)
