These paintings are realized through an immediate and intuitive process, becoming of desire and perception. Reduced to generalized terms the image emerging from the ground is a filigree of line, and marks of color, evoking a simplicity that is delicate and whole.

I am happy to announce that I won an Honourable Mention in the Painting category and will be part of the ‘Best of 2008’ exhibition at First Canadian Place Gallery, from January 12 to February 20, 2009.
